Now at version 1.0, and is in its first release state. There is currently no "help", but its operation is rather straight forward. The only uncommon part may be the AVI settings dialog (shown below) that allows users to select the output format. (Default is a series of windows bitmap files.) This program snaps picutes of windows, buttons, or the whole desktop, and creates bitmap files of them. But thats not all! You can also configure the tool to snap pictures at a given interval, and store them as bitmaps, or to any AVI format your PC has a codec for! That means you can snap any visable window (or even the desktop) and store it as an AVI for later playback. Why would you want to do that? Maybe you want to save
a small video clip from Real Player? Or make a bitmap of
your favorite web-cam friend to put on you home page! You
could make self-help AVIs
for the not-so-techincal members of you family, click and
play! You can target any window, and in some cases sub-window
elements. Capture buttons from your favorite application for
use on other apps that allow skins! The uses are limitless. |
