How it works Now at version 1.5, and is production quality. There is now built in help (embedded in the EXE, no HLP file required), and its very easy to follow. Basicly, this program pieces together files that have been segmented by another flipper, or by most popular news posting programs on the net. This tool graphicly shows you what parts you have, and which are missing, and can sew them all together again at the press of a button. If that's all it did, it would still be great, but it does MUCH more. If you let it save it's file maps (usualy under 1K in size) it can take the merged files and insert new pieces as they become available at a later date. What does that mean? It means if you get parts 1 to 40 and parts 43 to 80, you can paste it together and try to use the file. (For MPEG and AVI files a missing part usualy just causes a minor "hickup" for example.) Then if parts 41 to 42 come in a few days later, FileFlipper will be able to insert the new parts in their proper place in the existing file! No need to save parts, or waste time re-making or re-running batch files!
